Wood used is maple. This piece consits in two parts. The base is made up of one hundred twenty-eight (128) pieces glued into eight rings, glued to a solid bottom. The top is made up of sixty -four (64) pieces gluded into four rings, gluded into a solid top, with a tured maple ball. Forty-nine (49) horizontal beads were turned on the base and twenty-seven (27) beads were turned on the top. One hundred twenty (120) vetical lines were wood burned on the beads making 9,120 individual cells. These cells were painted with black, phthalo blue and deep scarlet red Indian ink.
