Sharon is a former designer and owner of a bridal business and most recently, at age 77, is a fine arts jewelry designer. She is mostly self-taught but improves her techniques with input from other artists and designers. She has a creative background, particularly from her father. Sharon has shown and sold her works privately, online and at Coco gallery at Coconut Point Mall, Estero. Sharon loves the Florida Beaches, waterbirds, seashells and plant-life. She often uses them as inspiration for her Jewelry pieces. Sharon uses mostly semi-prescious stones and silver wire wraps and weaves to mount and display her jewelry. Most recently she is expanding into using sea glass collected from Puerto Rico, Greece, and England.
