November 2023 Art Reception – Guest Artist Linda Lucas

Each month the Hirdie Girdie Gallery features a guest artist. We are excited to welcome Guest Artist Lind Lucas to the Hirdie Girdie Gallery.

You are invited to meet Linda at our reception being held Thursday November 9th, 2023 from 4-6pm.

Musician Bob Housler  will be performing, and we will be offering light refreshments.

We will have other artists from our gallery in attendance as well. In addition, our next door neighbor, Tower Gallery, will be having their reception too. Why not visit us both?

About Linda Lucas

Linda Lucas graduated with Fine Arts Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology & also attended NYS University @ Elmwood for Fiber Arts & Surface Design.
After college for two years she was an artist/ illustrator for Rochester Board of Education.
Linda taught watercolors & silk painting at Chautauqua Institute in New York as well as Ringling School of Art at Longboat Key , Art Center Manatee FL. and workshops around the country. She is a member of various art organizations including NFWS & FWS .
As a resident of Babcock Ranch Linda does monthly painting workshops & she participates in juried fine art outdoor shows and also has won numerous awards including best in show in New York & Florida.
Linda Lucas Studio is located in Babcock Ranch Fl. Her art is also available at Dragon Fly Art Gallery in Fisherman’s Village ,Punta Gorda FL. & ArtCenter Manatee in Bradenton .Her artwork is in the permanent collection of the Marietta Museum of Art in Sarasota.
Commissions available year round in watercolor , acrylic inks on paper & watercolor glazed canvas as well as acrylic on canvas and wearable art painting on silk.
