I was born with a natural fascination with brilliant color and abstract ideas. I have had the good fortune of traveling the world and my mind has become a vast well of snapshots and experiences that my subconscious draws upon to create my paintings. I choose the color that attracts me at the moment, then continue to add colors and watch how they flow, mix and move. The paintings begin to form themselves. I stand back, find what is hidden, and begin to consciously bring it out. Only when the work is completed do I find the true meaning of the piece and what inspired it. With each completed piece, I look forward to revisiting the story it tells.

Having had no formal training, I rely on optimism, experimentation and intuition to create my work. Optimism and intuition being the key factors. I rarely paint with subject intent. I am methodical, but not, a perfectionist, but not. I am indeed a perpetual student, grateful for the mentors I have been so fortunate to rub elbows with. The world can be a tough place, so my goal is to constantly improve my skills and set a lighter tone through color and often humor for myself and my viewers. I consider it a great privilege to paint and be heard above this noisy world without speaking.
