December 2023 “Love Affair” Art Reception – Guest Artist Terry Lynn Spry and Gerri Zoppa

The Hirdie Girdie Gallery is excited to welcome as our Guest Artists, Terry Lynn Spry and Gerri Zoppa!

Terry calls this exhibition the “Love Affair”. Gerri will be exhibiting her fabulous Christmas ornaments.

You are invited to meet Terry and Gerri at our reception being held Thursday, December 7th, 2023 from 5-7pm.

Musician Bob Housler  will be performing, and we will be offering light refreshments.

We will have other artists from our gallery in attendance as well. In addition, our next door neighbor, Tower Gallery, will be having their reception too. Why not visit us both?

About Terry Lynn Spry:

Terry Lynn is a renowned artist whose paintings have been exhibited in national and local juried art exhibitions. She has received various awards and honors, including an honorable mention in The Artist Magazine. Her work is also featured in private collections across the country. Terry Lynn is a member of the Florida Art Group and has received the Individual Art Grant multiple times from the city of Fort Myers. She holds a degree in production art from the Phoenix Institute of Technology and has studied under Nina Conner. Terry Lynn is passionate about sharing her love for art and teaches at the Alliance for the Arts. Her work can currently be seen at the Arts for Act Gallery in downtown Fort Myers, Florida. Gerri Zoppa:

Gerri Pucci Zoppa has started her career in painting in 1984 where she started to learn
different techniques to create her unique style and artwork. In 1990 she started selling her
artwork to “The Depot” in Midland Park, New Jersey where she still supplies them with great
holiday gifts and artwork to this day. In 1998 she received her certification in “One Stroke
Painting” from the famous artist Donna Dewberry. She followed up by taking classes and
painting with Robert Lewis one of the famed “Highway men”. After perfecting her techniques
in 1999 she started to teach her artwork at local craft stores and Monmouth County Adult
School. In 2004 she began teaching at Rutherford Adult School and Nutley Adult School along
with private classes in the Renessance Community. In 2004 her painting was also accepted
into the “Library Of Congress” in Washington, D.C.. She proceeded to follow up by also having
her work accepted into the Renwick Gallery located at the “Smithsonian Institute” in
Washington, D.C.. In 2005 she decided to relocate to SW Florida where she began to also
teach her art in Twin Isles Country Club in Punta Gorda, Florida and Bellamar at Beachwalk
located in Fort Myers along with a host of other private communities.
Currently today as she is still teaching classes throughout SW Florida, her artwork is in
Juried Exhibitions and for sale at Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center, DAAS Co-op Art Gallery
and Gifts, Arts for Act Gallery, Fort Myers Beach Art Association located in Fort Myers Florida.
Also some of her work is in Cape Coral Art Center in Cape Coral, Florida.
