Peter Zell
Peter Zell is a local oil painter who lives on Sanibel after having practiced law in Los Angeles for 32 years. He has won awards in a number of exhibition awards and plein air competitions and is the past president of the Sanibel-Captiva Art League. In his paintings, he attempts to blend representational subject matter with some abstraction, also blending traditional notions of form and space with flatness and decorative motifs.
