Neil Glaser is a traditional watercolor artist. His paintings are clear in design with an emphasis on the play of light and shadow on the environment. His subjects are drawn from everyday life, and range from rural Ohio landscapes to the rugged coast of Maine to the backcountry of Florida. By painting exclusively with transparent watercolors, he takes advantage of the subtleties inherent in the medium whether it be the soft neutral shades of a winter landscape or the dazzling colors of a Florida sunset.

His work as an architect and architectural illustrator has heightened his understanding of composition and design.

Neil divides his time between Lakeside, Ohio and Sanibel, Florida. He is a member of the Sanibel-Captiva and Ft. Myers Art Associations and is a frequent exhibitor and award winner in juried and invitational shows in Ohio and Florida. His work is displayed in several galleries and is included in private, public, and corporate collections.
