Gordon Coughlin
G. Gordon Coughlin: is a landscape painter in oil of unusual force, yet sensitive to the needs of nature. His paintings are created with thickly applied paints having a bold pallette and strong composition. Gordon studied art at Colgate University as well as with the acclaimed landscape painter, Jay Hall Connaway. He paints en-plain air on the coast of Maine, the Spanish Coast, in Vermont, the Catskill Mountains, and Sanibel, Florida. Gordon has had numerous solo exhibitions, participated in many group and invitational shows, and has won  prizes and awards for his paintings. His paintings are in many private and corporate collections through out the United states and Europe.
